The average CMC miniature car, whether in the scale of 1:12, 1:18, 1:24, or 1:43, was hand-assembled from hundreds of parts. With more recent items, this number has increased to over one thousand, and, in the case of Mercedes SSKL (M-055), totals 1,888 parts.

CMC is also committed to using the right materials of finest quality. Many parts are made of stainless steel or pricey copper, and the miniature body is covered in an authentic world-class paint. Likewise, seats are upholstered with genuine leather or textile, and the trunk is nicely carpeted if the original is so decked out.
